Interior Minister Nebojsa Stefanovic says the investigation into the meetings between Ivica Dacic and Rodoljub Radulovic is “in the hands of the prosecution.”
As Stefanovic said, they should make the next move. He also stressed this was “a think that needs to be shed light on.”
Asked by reporters what developments he expected after the recordings were published, Stefnaovic said this was “a thing that needs to be shed light on.”
“The investigation is in the hands of the prosecution and the next move is on them. As far as I’m concerned, I would not add anything other than what I said yesterday, and everything else we have to say we will say as the SNS Presodency meets,” said Stefanovic, who is also one of the SNS vice-presidents.
The footage dating back to 2008 and 2009 shows then Serbia’s interior, now foreign minister meet with Radulovic – who is now a fugitive from justice. In his reaction, Dacic said he was at the time unaware of Radulovic’s criminal activities.
Dacic’s SPS party is a member of the ruling coalition led by Aleksadar Vucic’s Progressives (SNS).
