The case was filed as aggravated theft, but Vojinovic said she doesn\u2019t\nrule out the possibility that the crime may have been related to her\njournalistic work.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Milica pointed out to the police officers\none unusual detail she noticed when she first entered the house. She explained\nthat about 500 euros were taken from the purse in her parents&#8217; room, but she\nalso found a wallet lying on the bed with about 400 euros in it, which the\nperpetrators didn\u2019t take. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The case was officially registered as\naggravated theft, but our journalist stated that she also has reasons to\nbelieve that breaking-and-entering could be related to her job. She received\nassurance that the case is highly prioritized.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The<a href=\"\/?p=30321\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" family house of Milica Vojinovic was broken into last week (opens in a new tab)\"> family house of Milica Vojinovic was broken into last week<\/a> while she and her family were abroad. Her cousin found a ransacked home on Friday. Things were taken out of drawers and cabinets and her father\u2019s business documentation was scattered around the room. There was nothing in the house that could compromise the confidentiality of KRIK\u2019s sources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We remind you that two and a half years ago\nthe apartment of Dragana Peco, KRIK\u2019s investigative reporter, has been broken\ninto and nothing was stolen.
