GIJN holds conferences, conducts trainings, helps and\u00a0provides consulting for journalists from all around the world. It was founded in 2003, from a gathering of more than 300 investigative journalists. Since then it has grown to more than 138 member organizations in 62 countries.<\/p>\n<p>From the moment KRIK started working we had the support of GIJN, because this network has <a href=\"\/?p=9143\" target=\"_blank\">publicly condemned the attacks of pro-government tabloid Informer<\/a> on the character and work of KRIK\u2019s editor Stevan Doj\u010dinovi\u0107.<\/p>\n<p>It is also important to mention that in October last year KRIK\u2019s editor has received <a href=\"\/?p=5477\" target=\"_blank\">Global Shining Light Award<\/a>, the highest professional recognition bestowed by GIJN. This international prize honors &#8220;tenacious investigative journalists, working under perilous conditions in developing countries&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>KRIK is proud of being\u00a0a <a href=\"http:\/\/gijn.org\/2016\/06\/14\/gijn-welcomes-10-new-members-from-10-countries\/\" target=\"_blank\">member of GIJN<\/a> and our journalists will continue to work together with colleagues from other media on development of investigative journalism.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Crime and Corruption Reporting Network \u2013 KRIK became a member of The Global Investigative Journalism Network (GIJN), the world&#8217;s leading association of investigative reporting organizations.
